Residential Treatment: Our residential treatment is a 5 week treatment with a primary focus on group therapy. Group therapy provides an opportunity for each person to raise their awareness of their behaviours, through listening to and identifying with others. It is a safe place within which to raise other life issues that may be impacting upon or affecting current psychological health and behaviour. Understanding the context in which addiction develops is an important and individual process, and ultimately changing how we cope is an important part of stepping into recovery.

During treatment there is also opportunity to work within 1:1 counselling. We also offer psychological assessment including personality, neuropsychological assessment (eg measurement of memory, language, attention, which can be affected by addiction), measurement of clinical anxiety and depression. Throughout treatment your mental health will be evaluated and intervention will focus on your particular needs. During treatment you will be exposed to Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and also to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills.
