Behind Rutland Centre

We are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors who meet on a regular basis. Meetings have an agreed agenda which includes review of management accounts, reports from the executive team and developing future strategy.  The Chief Executive (not a director) is also in attendance.

Good Governance is at the heart of what we do and as such the board of directors formally adopted the Charities Regulatory Authority Governance Code at a meeting of members on 20th May 2020. More information on the CRA Governance Code can be found here.

Prior to the establishment of the CRA Code of Governance,  the board of directors had signed up to and actively implement the “The Governance Code”. The Governance Code was a code of practice for good governance of community, voluntary and charitable organizations in Ireland. More information on this code can be found at www.governancecode.ie.and you can view the Code signed by our Directors in 2015 here

The Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising provides Irish charities with good practice standards for fundraising. You can read more information about the Guiding Principals here www.charitiesinstituteireland.ie On April 24th 2017 the Board of Directors adopted the Guiding Principals.
