FRIENDS OF RUTLAND

 

The Friends of the Rutland Centre is a membership based association that has two objectives, these are to:

 

Each year the Friends organise a number of social outings for its members and friends. In recent years these events include the Annual Garden Party, the Christmas Carol service, theatre night, golf classic and benefit concert. We also keep in contact with members throughout the year through the Rutland News newsletter.

 

Monies raised by the Friends at these events and others are used entirely to support the work of the Centre. Previous projects Friends have completed include the beautiful restoration of the ballroom in the Centre. The project for 2007 is to further enhance the facilities of the Centre by funding the construction of a ‘quiet space’ in the gardens.

 

The Friends are organised by a Committee who are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting. If you would like to become a member of the Friends and receive information about our events or if would like to contribute to the Committee please email us at friends@rutlandcentre.ie
